Tumbling River Ranch has been a dude ranch since the 1940s and has been operated by the same family since 1975. Surrounded by national forest, the ranch is located along Guanella Pass Scenic & Historic Byway (County Road 62) near Grant. The original homestead cabin was built around 1900, and the Ranch House and Pueblo House were both built during the 1920s. The five-story lodge has a large dining room, kitchen, gathering room, lounge room, and five guest suites. The Pueblo House has seven guest bedrooms, each with a fireplace and view.
