Hartsel Springs Ranch is a unique piece of South Park’s ranching and homesteading heritage. The original homestead has been remodeled, preserving the original western architecture, but modern day conveniences have also been added. Along with six en suite rooms, the lodge has living and lounge areas, and a conference room. A full commercial kitchen is available to cater meals. A few hundred yards from the lodge, cabins feature 2 to 3 bedrooms with living area, fireplace, and kitchen.
Hartsel Springs Ranch has about 6.5 miles of the Gold Medal trout fishing water on the Middle and South Forks of the South Platte River. Elk, Deer, and Pronghorn Antelope are frequently spotted in the plains and foothills. Numerous species of birds including a variety of geese and duck, birds of prey, and smaller birds are seen regularly. This large ranch offers daily horseback rides and hayrides with C&M Outfitters (719- 836-3557).
